Itinerant Workshop
A workshop that travels. I bring it where people move.
The Itinerant Workshop is Bilateral Education on the move: instead of waiting for you in one place, it comes to yours — the gym, the theatre or dance school, the sports centre, the studio where you treat or teach. The starting point never changes, wherever I bring it: which side movement is born from, and how to learn to choose it. Only the format changes, and the place — which is now yours.
The formats
The first two have a price because they’re standard. The others don’t: they’re built on your context, and the quote comes after understanding what’s needed.
For you, or your group
One-to-one session
Ninety minutes on your gesture: your cross, your step, the shoulder that pulls. Directly where you train, or where you bring your group.
Group session
Same duration and structure, from two people up. If you already train together it’s the most sensible option: you watch each other walk, and the side shows sooner.
For your organisation
An offering that sets you apart
Group courses inside your centre, agreed with you. For members it isn’t another fitness class: it’s work on the gesture that makes them less predictable and less exposed to overload.
Presence and laterality
A workshop on the side stage movement starts from. Performers recognise the problem at once: presence always tilts to the same side, and nobody has ever told them why.
One more tool, not an alternative
The subtractive approach supports your work where strengthening alone isn’t enough. It isn’t therapy and doesn’t replace it: it’s movement education, and it stays within that boundary.
Putting the hypotheses to the test
The thesis is written so that it can fail: stated hypotheses, a measurement protocol and falsification criteria. If you have a lab and the will to disprove it, that’s exactly what’s needed.
Before deciding, watch me work
A method is hard to judge on paper. Before talking about quotes and calendars, the sensible thing is to watch it happen — and there are two ways, both free.
Watch me work
The most honest way to assess someone is to watch them work. I can run a trial meeting at your place, with a group I don’t know: watch how I work before deciding.
Host one in your space
I bring the same introductory session to your members, students or patients: a single meeting, at no cost and with no commitment to continue. You see how the people you already know respond, I get to understand your context.
How we get to the right format
A trial, at no cost
I run a trial meeting at your place: a single meeting, free and with no commitment to continue.
You tell me the context
What you do, who you work with, what’s missing. I reply within twenty-four hours and, if it doesn’t make sense, I’ll say so.
We build the right format
A session, a series, a workshop, training for your coaches: the format comes from your needs and your calendar, not from a catalogue.
Tell me what you need
Two lines are enough: who you are, what you do and what you’d like to change. If the right format isn’t any of the above, I’ll tell you — and if I’m not the right person, I’ll tell you that too.
